2313 Series Stainless Steel, MOD 1.25 Worm (6mm D-Bore, 34mm Length)

This 6mm D-Bore Worm is cut specifically to mate with our MOD 1.25, 28 tooth hub mount worm gear to create a massive 28:1 gear reduction. M5 set-screws limit the worm from moving axially in builds that do not already capture the worm from moving up and down a shaft.

This worm gear’s 34mm length allows it to fit inside 1120 Series U-Channel while providing the necessary space to run 6mm ID ball bearings and 6mm ID thrust bearings on each side. Radial bearings allow the D-shaft driving the bearing to rotate smoothly and effectively. Thrust bearings, meanwhile, handle any axial load that would otherwise press against the radial bearings.

This worm has a diameter of 15mm, leaving you enough space to install M4 screws to mount (on the goBILDA® 16mm pattern) a goBILDA® 5202 Series Gear Motor to the side of goBILDA® 1120 Series U-Channel.
