This flanged aluminum tube is the peanut butter to a 32mm bore pillow block's jelly!

1602 Series pillow blocks are great for builds on the outside of channel, while the 1604 Series are fantastic for builds within channel. Both series offer 32mm bore pillow blocks that can jive with this tube to create a special recipe for an on-pattern motion assembly: when you seat this tube within two such pillow blocks that are mounted on the goBILDA® 8mm pattern grid, the length value of the tube that extends past the pillow block on the non-flanged side will be a simple grid-based number that’s just right for mounting a 32mm bore hub.

The flange on the end provides a built-in axial stop: there’s no need to use a separate component, like a collar or clamp, to restrain the shaft in one direction. And since the flange's abbreviated diameter nicely clears the outer race of our 32mm bearings, you’re sure to get smooth motion!
