Jump-start your season with the FTC Starter Bot from goBILDA®!

The FTC Starter Bot is built using only components from the FTC Starter Kit (plus a REV Hub). Once you have your FTC Starter Kit in hand, come back to this page to review the Starter Bot’s Overview Video, Assembly Instructions, and Example Code. With these resources, your team can start with a box of parts and end with a robot that performs core game tasks.

This robot is designed specifically to compete in the 2024-2025 FTC season, INTO THE DEEP℠, and can:

• Score SAMPLES into the LOW BASKET
• Score SPECIMENS onto either CHAMBER
• Hang on the LOW RUNG (LEVEL 2 ASCENT)

The robot's articulated arm, rotating wrist, and active intake provide a strong foundation, but there's still room for improvement. Its purpose is to help teams get started with essential functionality, offering a solid early-season experience. From there, it's up to your team to build on its capabilities, enhance performance, and make it truly competitive.
