Modern Robotics/MATRIX 12VDC Motor with 17 Tooth Gear

This brushed DC motor from Modern Robotics® is legal in FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge). It is the powerhouse driving the spur and planetary gearboxes of our 5202 Series gear motors. Its encoder is designed to work at 3.3V or 5V. Whether you are using an Arduino or the REV Expansion Hub, you don't need to bother with a logic level converter. 

The 17 tooth, MOD 0.5 gear has been pre-installed onto the 1/8" motor shaft so that you can more easily install a gearbox which calls for this size of pinion gear.  The gear is a press-fit and a shaft bonding Loctite has been added for insurance.
